As a Director of Consulting Services, Tyler leads a growing team of consulting and industry experts with the primary goal of helping clients take on their biggest challenges, implement solutions brought on by the ever-changing nature of the industry, and reduce costs. The Consulting Services team helps EAG’s clients achieve their goals by staffing highly qualified resources to supplement and enhance their teams and add value across the major functional areas of the upstream oil and gas industry.
Tyler Wohlwend is a Director of Consulting Services at EAG who joined in 2019. Tyler’s role is to contribute to the overall direction and strategy of the consulting services team, while leading challenging and complex project engagements for various client types.
Tyler is well-versed in all upstream oil and gas accounting functions with a focus on strategy, mergers and acquisitions, project management, master data management, integration and reporting, and enterprise software implementations. He has led multiple software evaluations and managed the associated implementations. Tyler’s keen sense of client management has helped him to cultivate strong resources within his team, allowing the consulting services group to deliver exceptional results for EAG’s clients.
Tyler earned his Bachelor of Science in Management and Master of Finance with Energy Specialization degrees from Tulane University.
Tyler brings 14+ years of midstream and upstream oil and gas consulting experience to EAG. He has a demonstrated ability in supporting systems and delivering complex multi-phased projects over geographically dispersed companies.
Prior to EAG, Tyler worked at Quorum Business Solutions and Magnum Forge, leading and/or contributing to merger and acquisition, implementation, and development projects across a wide range of companies and applications in the oil and gas industry.
Tyler enjoys spending time with his family, attending sporting events (Astros/Rockets/Texans), traveling, and exploring the local restaurant scene.
