Ahmed Taher is the Vice President of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) at EAG, where he leads a team of seasoned energy professionals in delivering high-quality back-office outsourcing and staff augmentation services. Under his leadership, oil and gas clients benefit from best-in-class accounting, land, and production accounting solutions at optimized costs.

With a track record of over 60 successful client engagements, Ahmed has driven major system implementations, acquisitions and divestitures, automation initiatives, strategic assessments, and application optimizations. He has helped E&P companies of all sizes enhance operational efficiency and achieve long-term success.

Ahmed began his career in the energy industry at Apache Corporation’s Land Department before transitioning to IFS Energy & Resources (formerly P2 Energy Solutions) as a Land Systems Consultant, where he played a key role in developing and implementing a new Land Management solution. At EAG, he has held leadership roles across Consulting, Shared Services, and Application Support before assuming his current position overseeing the BPO division.

Committed to staying at the forefront of industry and technological advancements, Ahmed actively fosters relationships within EAG’s network of clients and business partners. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Houston, with a minor in international relations, and is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), and ITIL4-certified professional.
